A couple years ago, I came up with a formula to compare offenses and defenses for my fantasy league. It worked pretty well, so I started using it to make five picks each week (against the spread) while tracking my progress. In 2006, I correctly picked 67% of my games for the season. In 2007, I correctly picked 66%. This year I’m putting my picks online, as sort of a public record, for those of you who enjoy following along.
I’ll post 5 picks each week, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, starting two weeks into the college football season (September 13th). I wait that long so I can get some accurate offensive and defensive stats. In the meantime, I’ll probably make some picks for fun — just to get used to blogging.
